About Wellington point
Lifestyle
It’s no surprise that Wellington Point itself is known year-round as a great spot for the family for fishing, boating, barbecues and a wide range of water sports. Picturesque Wellington Point Reserve is a fantastic place to watch the lights brighten over Brisbane as daylight fades, to picnic, enjoy the sun or just relax with a good book in the shade of the huge Moreton Bay figs. A trip to “Wello” is not complete without a walk at low tide across the sand bar to King Island.
Wellington Point Village’s dining precinct is highly regarded, with many cafes and restaurants to satisfy all tastes.
